Hi! My name is Tarini Talagadadeevi. I am a Medical Sciences major minoring in Public Health and completing a certificate in Medical Humanities. I am passionate about my education, personal growth, and relationships with my loved ones. Attending the University of Cincinnati has helped me become more passionate about topics I had never thought about before. Through my certificate, I learned about the social determinants of health and want to work towards making healthcare equitable. I am also passionate about decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health, as I hope to become a psychiatrist.

 

Through the University Honors program, I wish to gain experiences that will help me grow and become a better student and individual. I am also looking forward to learning about topics not in my direct field of study in order to become a more well-rounded individual. After taking the strengths quiz, I learned that my strengths are being adaptable, my ability to woo others and that I am a learner, an arranger, and a positive person in general. Outside of academics, I love to dance, work out, read books, and spend time with my family and friends. Although I'm attending the University of Cincinnati, I am a born and raised Kansas citian always rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs!
